Adding the App to Your Device
Installing the Convention App
iPhone & Android
When you open the website on your phone, you’ll notice the FASNY Convention App Icon in the lower right corner.
The Convention app is easy to install, but since it’s not in the app stores there are some specific instructions for iPhone. iPhone users should use Safari for installation. Make sure you open the site in Safari.
What’s important to remember is after downloading the app, make sure you open the app settings or preferences and turn ‘notifications’ on.

For iPhone:
Select ‘Add to Home Screen’. Confirm the name, then tap ‘Add’ to place the icon on your home screen for app-like access.
To allow Notifications on iPhone: Settings > Notifications, select the specific app, and ensure “Allow Notifications” is toggled ON.

Click the icon and follow the phone screen prompts for adding it to your home screen.
For notifications on Android, you should be able to long press the app icon and adjust notifications and settings from there.
