Sean Kerwin
Sean Kerwin is an experienced accounting professional, educator, and entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business management. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Siena University and has successfully completed the Uniform CPA Examination.
In addition to his extensive accounting background, Sean has significant entrepreneurial experience. He previously owned and operated The Lancaster Inn Restaurant and has managed a property management company, gaining hands-on expertise in business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
Sean has dedicated much of his career to education. For the past 25 years, he has served as a Professor of Accounting at Hudson Valley Community College, where he has helped prepare and mentor generations of students pursuing careers in accounting and business.
He is also deeply committed to public service and community involvement. Sean has served as Treasurer of North Greenbush Fire District No. 1 for 25 years, overseeing financial operations and ensuring fiscal accountability for the district. He previously served as Financial Secretary of the Wynantskill Fire Department and has been the Treasurer of the Firefighters Association of the State of New York for five years.
Through his combined experience in education, accounting, entrepreneurship, and public service, Sean brings a strong commitment to financial integrity, leadership, and community engagement.
